About Woodpecker Instruments

Guitars with character.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2018, Woodpecker Instruments started with a passion for high-quality travel guitars and ukuleles. What began as a love for compact, great-sounding instruments has grown into a carefully curated online guitar shop for players who appreciate quality, character and individuality.

Today, we bring together a distinctive selection of acoustic and electric guitars from inspiring European and international brands, alongside carefully selected pre-owned instruments. From boutique guitar makers with a unique approach to craftsmanship to lesser-known brands that deserve more recognition, we aim to offer something beyond the ordinary.

We believe a great guitar is more than just an instrument. It should inspire you to play, spark new musical ideas, sound fantastic and feel right in your hands. Whether you're an experienced guitarist searching for something special or a player looking for an instrument that makes you want to pick it up every day, finding the right guitar makes all the difference.

That's why we carefully select every guitar we offer, focusing on sound, playability, build quality, character and craftsmanship. We look beyond familiar names and mainstream models to discover instruments with their own identity — guitars made with care, designed to be played and built to become part of your musical journey.

We're particularly passionate about independent guitar makers, distinctive designs and instruments that offer something a little different. Our collection combines new guitars from carefully chosen brands with pre-owned instruments that have plenty of music left to make. Every guitar has its own story, and we love helping players discover the one that speaks to them.

At Woodpecker Instruments, we believe that finding a guitar should be an inspiring experience. We're here to share our passion for great instruments, introduce you to brands worth discovering and help you find a guitar you'll love playing for years to come.
