Dowina Cocobolo GAC-DS

The Dowina Cocobolo GAC-DS is a premium handcrafted acoustic guitar from Dowina’s flagship Cocobolo range, made in Slovakia. Combining a solid Dolomite Spruce top with all-solid Cocobolo back and sides, this Grand Auditorium Cutaway delivers a rich, powerful and highly articulate sound with excellent clarity and dynamic response.

The Grand Auditorium body offers an excellent balance between comfort, projection and tonal versatility. The cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets, making the GAC-DS particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, lead work and modern acoustic guitar styles.

Cocobolo is one of the most distinctive tonewoods used by Dowina. It is a dense and highly resonant hardwood, known for its rich tonal character, sustain and striking natural colour variations. Combined with a Dolomite Spruce top, it produces a sound that is detailed and responsive while retaining plenty of warmth and depth.
